O documento cobra intervenções urgentes e permanentes no trecho urbano da BR-116, demandas que foram enfatizadas na audiência promovida em 28 de abril no Legislativo Municipal.

Manifesto em defesa de intervenções definitivas nos os viários de Vitória da Conquista
Representantes de diversos segmentos sociais, culturais, econômicos e comunitários de Vitória da Conquista, reunidos em Audiência Pública na Câmara de Vereadores no dia 28 de abril, debateram a necessidade urgente de investimentos e intervenções em definitivo por parte dos Governos estadual e federal na melhoria dos os viários da nossa cidade.
Reconhecemos que Vitória da Conquista enfrenta atualmente sérios problemas de mobilidade urbana, especialmente nos seus principais pontos de entrada e saída, que comprometem a segurança das pessoas, a fluidez do trânsito, a qualidade de vida da população e o desenvolvimento econômico local.
Diante dessa realidade, solicitamos a implementação de intervenções definitivas, com destaque para a construção de viadutos nas cinco principais entradas e saídas do município: saída para Itambé; saída para Anagé; saída para Barra do Choça; saída para o bairro Campinhos; e cruzamento do Distrito Industrial; arelas nos Campinhos e trecho do Assaí. Essas medidas trarão inúmeros benefícios públicos e coletivos, tais como:
Redução de acidentes e aumento da segurança viária;
Diminuição do tempo de deslocamento e melhora na mobilidade urbana;
Maior segurança e comodidade para os usuários do transporte coletivo;
Melhoria do transporte de cargas e mercadorias, impulsionando a economia local;
Valorização do comércio, indústria e turismo na região, e Melhoria na qualidade de vida dos moradores, com menos estresse e maior fluidez do trânsito.
Cabe destacar que, na audiência pública realizada na Câmara de Vereadores no dia 28 de abril, participaram diversos cidadãos, representantes de entidades e especialistas, todos unânimes em reforçar a necessidade de uma intervenção definitiva e eficaz nos pontos críticos de o à nossa cidade.
