Na segunda-feira, 12, a secretária de Estado da Saúde da Bahia, Roberta Silva de Carvalho Santana, cumpriu agenda oficial em Brumado. Durante sua visita, ela anunciou novas ações de fortalecimento dos Serviços de Saúde do município, entregou equipamentos no valor de R$ 109 mil – entre os quais três Kits Odontológicos para Unidades Básicas de Saúde e insumos para estruturação de uma Ambulância do Serviço de Atendimento Móvel de Urgência (Samu) – e reforçou o compromisso com a ampliação da infraestrutura hospitalar na região.
Na ocasião, a secretária, acompanhada pelo prefeito Fabricio Abrantes Pires de Souza Oliveira (Avante), pelo secretário municipal de Saúde, Danilo de Souza Menezes, além de prefeitos, vereadores, parlamentares e lideranças locais e da região, vistoriou as obras da nova sede da Base Regional de Saúde, que está sendo construída pelo Governo do Estado com um investimento de R$ 2,23 milhões. A previsão é de que a Unidade seja concluída ainda no segundo semestre deste ano, garantindo maior qualidade e eficiência ao atendimento regional.
A secretária de Estado também conheceu as instalações do Hospital Municipal Professor José Maria de Magalhães, das Unidades locais da Fundação de Hematologia e Hemoterapia da Bahia (Hemoba), do Laboratório Central de Saúde Pública (Lacen) e a Policlínica Regional de Saúde.
Roberta Santana reafirmou o compromisso do Governo do Estado, firmado pelo governador Jerônimo Rodrigues Souza (PT), de ampliar o o à Saúde e melhorar a qualidade do atendimento na região. Além das entregas de equipamentos, a secretária destacou a importância de fortalecer a parceria entre o Estado e a Prefeitura de Brumado – que que durante oito anos ficou prejudicada por decisão política do gestor anterior, agora retomada pelo atual prefeito – principalmente no âmbito do Hospital Municipal Professor José Maria de Magalhães Neto, visando ampliar a capacidade de atendimento e oferecer serviços mais eficazes para toda a população brumadense e regional. “Estamos também avaliando a estrutura da Unidade para desenvolver um planejamento estratégico mais preciso”, afirmou.
Ainda durante a visita, a secretária anunciou que, a pedido do governador Jerônimo Rodrigues, a Secretaria de Estado da Saúde da Bahia está conduzindo estudos técnicos para viabilizar a construção de um Hospital Regional na região. Essa iniciativa, sublinhou, busca atender às demandas da população dos municípios da região, que têm sido reiteradas pelos prefeitos locais, oferecendo uma estrutura adequada para serviços de Média e Alta Complexidade, assegurando uma assistência mais qualificada aos moradores.
O prefeito Fabricio Abrantes (Avante), que defende a instalação do Hospital Regional na cidade, revelou que tem dialogado com os prefeitos da região não só para aprimorar a qualidade da oferta de serviços e do atendimento à população, não apenas em Brumado, mas em todos os demais municípios que compõem a Região de Saúde de Brumado. Acrescentou que (Brumado) já dispõe de uma área destinada à construção da Unidade de Saúde Regional e que estudos técnicos estão sendo realizados para viabilizar o projeto de forma concreta.
A secretária Roberta Santana destacou que os estudos técnicos continuam em andamento, com análise de aspectos logísticos e operacionais, para assegurar que o Hospital atenda às expectativas e às demandas da região. A previsão é que, independentemente do município de instalação, a Unidade seja fundamental para fortalecer o Sistema de Saúde Regional, oferecendo serviços de Média e Alta Complexidade com eficiência e qualidade.
Apesar de ser amplamente apoiada por muitos gestores, a proposta do Hospital Regional em Brumado tem gerado algumas preocupações entre prefeitos da microrregião, que ouvidos pelo JS de forma reservada, expressaram hesitações em relação à localização do Hospital, temendo os possíveis impactos nos atendimentos dos municípios vizinhos.
